ApeOver Music is a full service music store. We sell musical instruments of all types, we repair musical instruments of all types, and we have teaching studios and a full compliment of professional teachers for most instruments. We have a school band rental program that is growing by leaps and bounds. We have a pro audio department for lighting and sound equipment rentals. We have a mobile digital recording studio. We specialize in vintage instruments, particularly guitars, amplifiers, drums and woodwinds. We have amazingly talented employees who enjoy what they do (and it shows). There are 22 employees and teachers now associated with ApeOver Music compared to just 3 when we opened two years ago. We are definately growing.

We are a relatively new store. We've been in business for just over two years as of this writing, and we are only now beginning to develop the more complex aspects of our original business plans. And speaking of our business plan, we are somewhat different than the typical music store. We started this, and continue to develop this business, based on the philosophy that it is more important to be a resource for the positive development of music, education and performance, than it is to make a bunch of money. This business was conceptualized, financed and built by two people who don't have to answer to anybody about profitability and due diligence. We do what we want, and we want this to be fun...for everybody!

We run a profitable business, though. We have employees, teachers, project developments and expansion that gets financed by our good business practices and the returns from our sales. In a sense, our success is determined by the customers we have that agree with, and benefit from, our unique philosophy. We're doing this for them (you!). 

It is our intention to provide the services, products, education and support that will inspire a thriving music community. We are looking at expansion in areas that include recording, manufacturing, local artist development and educational services in production, composition and live sound engineering. These things won't happen overnight, but they are coming...eventually.

This has been an exciting two years and we can see that by the way things are going, the next two years will be even more fun. We hope you'll join us.
